The Nike Dunk Low “Team Green” is based on team uniform colors of the Michigan State Spartans college basketball team. The “Team Green” is inspired by Nike’s original “Be True to Your School” pack that was dedicated to some of the top college basketball programs in the country during the mid-to-late 1980s. In 2020, Nike released the “Spartan Green” Dunk High, which is basically a high-top version of the “Team Green” seen here. Like the aforementioned design, the “Team Green” features a white leather base with contrasting Team Green leather overlaid panels. A green leather Swoosh appears on either side and white “Nike” detailing is embroidered on the heel. Green laces are layered over the white nylon tongue. A white midsole and green outsole finish off the look of the Nike Dunk Low based on the color block of the Michigan State Spartans’ team uniforms. Release date: April 16, 2021.
